Every year when it is poppy season the red flowers lure me in with their bright color. I try to resist for a few weeks, it seems too obvious, too cliché to photograph these. Moreover, where I live I can’t find the pretty mountain fields filled with poppies, here they grow on road-sides and parking lots. But I gave in. Here is my selection…

    I am amazed by how much more dreamlike the Portra pictures are. I like them much better :-)!

    I am baffled by what you ahve done with a rangefinder….

    1. Thanks a lot MP! I love the portra result too, but I am still learning about how to use it best. Not every situation seems suitable (I am thinking rain…).
