After the night photos and the green spots of London, I want to dedicate my final post of London to the different special spots that make this city feel comfortable and intimidating at the same time. Impressive architecture, touristic spots, but also small quiet streets, and other buildings that caught my eye. A pub for lunch, or a pretty high tea. A cathedral or a flower shop. To me, this is London.
I hope you enjoy!
We encountered these men on friday during lunch in a pub. They were drinking beer at noon, in their suits. We could not figure out whether they are retired, or just doing well enough to leave the office early before the weekend. I tried to be discrete, but I got caught taking this photo 😉 .
I like the symmetry of this building, and I think the man balances the lamppost very well.
What can be better to emphasise the impressive pillars than one small woman?
Houses of Parliament seen through the fence.
This tasted very good! 🙂
Two directions from the Millennium Bridge. Left is Tate Modern, right St Paul’s Cathedral. It was still early morning, so very quiet, except for this man. I think his black coat works well. And isn’t it brilliant how the colors match?
