October has come, and so has fall. Which is good news for most landscape photographers. Sunrise is at a fairly acceptable hour of the day. And most of all: fog! By the way, the first fog happened a week ago, when it was still September, thus explaining the title 🙂 .
For these photos I stayed close to home, I have my usual round of about 4 kilometres starting from home, which is very convenient. No spectacular scenery, hills, heather or whatsoever, but a simple canal, some trees, and some ordinary flowers. But with a bit of morning light and fog, some beautiful images are right in front of you. What surprises me is the diversity in such a short walk. Fog can be heavy like this:
