With this post I want share some of the pictures I made during a hiking trip between Bunnik and Utrecht. It was a lovely morning, a bit of sun, a bit overcast, nice temperatures, good conditions for a walk. Somehow the pictures came out better in black and white, hence a monochrome post.

The first part of the walk I followed the ‘Kromme Rijn’, a small river running from Bunnik to Utrecht.

At the estate Rhijnauwen the path crosses the river. There is a lovely teahouse at the riverside. after that the footpath goes straight through some meadows towards De Uithof in Utrecht.

When I arrived at De Uithof I heard some noise in the meadow. When I looked I saw that a cow had gotten herself in a ditch, and was trying to get out. Se was carefully watched by the other cows. They didn’t lend a hand, but I think they cheered her on…

Be assured, she managed to get out!

I want to finish with one color photo. I thought the shades of green of the photo with the duck were really nice, so I had to include it.
