Last Sunday I finally got my desired fog and sun combo, but I didn’t have time to drive to the other side of the country, so I stayed close to home and went to Broekpolder. The Broekpolder is a park created for recreation, with some small parts of woodlands, some water pools and a bit of grassland. I am not fond of all the wide footpaths, I prefer to wander through the woods without too much prescribed direction, but this time I just had to make do with it.

A nice surprise was the layered landscape that became visible due to the fog. It just shows, there is always something or someplace beautiful enough to photograph. After a little while the fog rose to create a dense low sky too thick for the sun to penetrate. So it was a short exercise, but with some nice results.

This last one is an experiment. A bit different from my usual look, but maybe worth exploring further. I am not sure if it is light enough to be called high-key, but definitely moving in that direction.
