Last Sunday I stayed close to home. The sun was shining, it wasn’t too cold, and I was in an athletic mood 🙂 . So I took my bike out, and rode along the Schie towards Delft.

As it was early, the moon was still out there, and I caught this bird flying towards it. Plus, some nice morning-sky-colors!

Between my home and Delft is a bit of nature called Midden-Delfland. It is mainly open areas as shown above. There are also some areas with trees, but usually it is not wat a normal person would call woodland. However, in my area this is as close as it gets 😉 . I managed to brave the swampy ground, and took this photo of chaotic trees. Aren’t the little pieces of grass coming out of the mud cute?

Next to the trees, the reed turned out to be pretty photogenic too. Or maybe it’s just my personal preference, I just can’t seem to get enough of the combination of sunlight and reed plumes…
